This week has not been too bad of a week. Just lectures. No clinicals. Throughout the week, I've forgotten what has made me happy each day. However, Tuesday wasn't a particularly exciting day as I had to do a 15 minute presentation in front of the whole Christchurch/Nelson kids and supervisors. Not being much of a public speaker, I was nervous as. I was last up, and everyone was getting to the point where they just wanted to leave. But they very patiently listened to mine and appeared interested in the topic as I tried to relate it to the recent earthquake events. So I was very happy to get that out of the way.
That night, attended my first Mental Health discussion group at the invitation of my last supervisor. And they wanted me to present to them at the next meeting also. Nerves. Talking in front of people who knows way more about it than I do. Sigh.
The rest of the week seemed to pass rather quickly. With St John training on Wednesday night. And a night off on Thursday. Most of the afternoons and nights have been occupied by vigorously trying to finish our research project which ended up being 52 pages long. Yeah. Bam!
Friday was a pretty awesome day. Got everything printed and bound. Ready to be sent off. Then went over to Canterbury University to attend a few random lectures. Dissociation identity disorder is complex and interesting at the same time. The whole 300 level lecture, although two hours long, was enjoyable. However, the 200 level personality disorder lecture wasn't as good as the 300 level lecture.
Got the bank account for our road trip sorted on Saturday morning and also got myself the new All Black RWC2011 Jersey. MEAN AS!
Got St John stuff tomorrow morning. 0745. No sleep in... =[ But it should be fun. Motorsports FTW!
